TODAY'S ASSIGNMENTS:
If you don't get all of these assignments completed, turned in to the tray or posted to your blog they will be considered late and points will be taken off!
1) You have until the end of the period on Thursday to complete Chapter 20 Assignments and get them turned in or posted to your blog (which ever is appropriate).
This is what you should complete for Chapter 20 -->
* Brief overview - outline of chapter 20 (Some of you do not have enough information covered on your blogs. Please outline/summarize the ENTIRE CHAPTER. (SCREENSHOT AND POSTED TO BLOG OR PRINTED OUT AND TURNED IN, you decide).
*If you post overview --> Title your blog post: Ch. 20 Overview
* New Blog post: title Chapter 20 Vocabulary - Type the words on page 414 and their definition in a new blog post and post to your blog.
* Complete the Recalling Key Concepts on page 414. Title your blog post: Ch. 20 Recalling Key Concepts. Type the question and answer. (Type it in Word and then take a screenshot from Print Preview and post it to your blog.)
* Chapter 20 packet you should have gotten from you the sub yesterday, in order to complete and turn in by the end of the period tomorrow.

Added Assignment to be completed by the end of the period today:
1) In a new post; titled Advice on Budgeting Money
You are helping a friend learn how to budget money. Write in a new post the directions for how to estimate income and expenses. You should then set up a budget. Be sure to include a list of typical expenses and tell how to keep records to track expenses. Be very specific. Proofread your entry. Make sure it makes sense to the reader.

2) In a new post; titled Calculate Income and Expenses
Read the paragraph below. In the new post specifically type out how you would figure the problems (show your work and BOLD your answers)

"George has been keeping track of his income and expenses. His total income for four months was $600.00, and his flexible expenses were $350.00 What were George's average monthly income and his average monthly flexible expenses?"

Everythin must be complete today; as I don't think yall will come to 3rd period tomorrow.

Announcements:
* Guys some of you have really slacked off on your daily work. That is unacceptable. You have been working on Chapter 20 for 2 days now and there aren't many of you with postings to your blogs with Chapter 20 information.
* You need to begin to check your blogs for comments each day. I may send you some messages regarding your work. Make sure you respond to me by commenting on my page and correcting anything that I tell you to correct about your work.

* At this point there are several of you not passing at this time due to lack of work and not making the best of decisions.

* I will remind you one last time and give each of you this information one last time. If you are going to be absent during the school day or going to be tardy for any reason YOU must call me by 9:00 am to tell me why. If it is not for a legitmate reason or I find out you missed school and went to work your grade will suffer dramatically. There are too many of you with too many absences! THIS MUST STOP! Remember you are to treat me like you do your employer. Remember most jobs have a policy of no call, no show = BEING FIRED!!

TODAY'S ACTIVITIES:
I want you to work on Chapter 20 today.
Tomorrow I want to start a simulatiomn paket with everyone. But I will have to do some instruction on that one.

Do not worry about updating your folders today. We will do that tomorrow.

You have until the end of the period on Wednesday to complete Chapter 20 information.

1. Brief overview - outline of chapter 20 (typed in word) (SCREENSHOT AND POSTED TO BLOG OR PRINTED OUT AND TURNED IN, you decide). Title your blog post: Ch. 20 Overview
2. New Blog post: title Chapter 20 Vocabulary - Type the words on page 414. and their definition in a new blog post and post to your blog.
3. Complete the Recalling Key Concepts on page 414. Title your blog post: Ch. 20 Recalling Key Concepts. Type the question and answer. (Type it in Word and then take a screenshot from Print Preview and post it to your blog.)
4. If you complete all of 1, 2, & 3 above, then go to the sub and ask for a worksheet packet and begin working on that worksheet packet.

Everything for chapter 20 is due by the end of period on Wednesday, because even if I take classtime tomorrow you should have time today to get most of this done today.
